I was super excited to try out a pair of knee high Sox Box socks as part of their affiliate program. As a long time CrossFitter, I've always struggled with finding good socks for rope climbs, and on occasion the shin scrape from lifting. Up until this point I have been doubling up a set of knee high socks from Target, but putting two socks on one side is pretty annoying.
There are so many cute colors and sayings available from Sox Box, so it was hard to choose which one to try out... but if you haven't figured it out by now, I have a SLIGHT pink obsession. I was super excited when my pink and black 'STRENGTH' socks arrived. As an owner of athletic-sized calves, my concern with designs on socks is always that they are going to stretch out so that you cannot see them anymore. I was relieved that the 'STRENGTH' remained intact even over my calves!!
I tested the socks out on some rope climbs, and the thickness saved my skin from splinters that usually make their way in through the thin socks I had been wearing. This is a greatly appreciated feature. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since they have a search feature for CrossFit Socks.
