Workout Wednesday - Krazy Kettlebells

It's Wednesday which of course means a new workout post!

I work with kettlebells on a weekly basis, so I went on search of a new kettlebell workout for you.  I was pleasantly surprised to find a super badass kettlebell workout for girls!!  I've never met Lauren Brooks from On The Edge Fitness in Texas (so I hope she doesn't mind the video shoutout!) but she looks like one tough girl!  Not to mention the fact that I like that her motto is 'strong is the new sexy!'

The Workout
First off, if you are un familiar with a kettlebell, please don't do this workout on your own! : )
(I have slightly modified this workout so that you can workout w/out a partner)

5 Rounds:

10 Kettlebell Clean and Press
10 Ring Pull Ups (can be substituted for dead hang, kipping or band pullups on bar)
10 Kettlebell Double Cleans (if you have no idea what you are doing here I suggest maybe swapping for deadlifts at a heavier weight)
10 Kettlebell Goblet Squats

If you aren't panting by the end of this I'd be shocked.  Of course if you are unfamiliar with the use of a kettlebell, consult a trainer or at the very least start with a light weight.

Check out her YouTube channel for more great workouts.  KBellQueen

* You may be wondering... what the hell is a kettlebell.  According to the VERY (haha) reliable Wikipedia, a kettlebell is a cast iron weight (resembling a cannonball with a handle) used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training.  The term 'pood' is often used to refer to measurements of weight; it is defined as roughly 16 kilograms (35 lb).
